What is your cure/remedies for thrush/candida?

The bane of women the world around, there is nothing that can drive you as crazy as a yeast infection down south.

Have any of you beautifully savvy girls out there found any cures?

Here’s mine: make up a warm salt water solution, and sit in it. Stay there, just marinading, for a few minutes. When you hop out, don’t dry the sore/itchy areas, let the salt water stay there. Provides INSTANT relief from the most insane itching you can imagine, and it lasts about half the day before the symptoms start to return – and even then it should make it manageable for the whole day.

Live yoghurt – eat it regularly and you can even use it as an ointment – it has bacillus which counteract the yeast infection.
Also, avoid foods for a while which contain yeast – e.g. Marmite

Plain yoghurt – you can eat it or wear it or both. Sounds messy and it is (use a san pad) But very soothing. But the medications from the chemists now are fantastic – 1 tablet and its gone…. ahhhhhhhh.

I have had very few episodes of thrush but I have found buttermilk or live yogurt (plain) is very helpful. Eat a bowl of yogurt or drink a glass of buttermilk and then use it also as a topical application to chase off the symptoms.
